Danny Cohen is currently the co-chair of the Los Feliz Neighborhood Council Transportation & Mobility Committee, working to make the neighborhood more inclusive, safe, and fulfilling for those who live, work, and enjoy Los Feliz.

What I've Been Working On

  • Fountain/Hyperion Street Safety. (Curbed LA Article) Update March 2019 - I have been working to coordinate efforts of LFNC and Community Groups to get LADOT to make this stretch safer!
  • Crosswalk at Hollywood & Rodney.
  • Additional east/west stop signs at Talmadge and Clayton.
  • Speedhump on Avocado between Commonwealth and Rowena.
  • Letter to Councilman David Ryu concerning position on street safety projects. (Curbed LA Article)
  • Authoring LFNC's Community Impact Statement regarding the city council's home sharing ordinance (AirBnb's) which became the basis for many other neighborhood council's CIS's and was incorporated into the City Council's final legislation. (Council File 14-1635-S2)
  • Numerous requests to LADOT, CD4, and CD13 for street safety improvements to our roads for all those driving, walking, and biking.
  • Website improvements for submitting public comments, tracking board member attendance records, and providing back-end simplicity for management and administration.
